As hard as I work to get everything that I want, the way that I want it, life continues to show me that things just don't work that way. Often I hear many people say "stay down for the come up," and they're right! To whom much is given, much is required. In order to achieve your definition of success, you have to make some type of sacrifice along the way. Growing up and seeing other successful business owners, I always thought "Wow, they make the mogul lifestyle look so easy." Boy was I wrong. Owning and managing business has been one of the greatest challenges of my life.
I found myself complaining last week, hurt because I was having to give so much of myself and missing out on doing things I normally love doing. Then it hit me... this is what I asked for. I wanted to be in the position I am in before I fully understood what came with it.
Although, everyone's journey is different we still have to trust and know that there will be bumps in every road. We all want the end results but struggle putting in the necessary work to produce them. Something I always tell myself when it seems like the dues are becoming overwhelming is no team ever won a championship without practicing; and if they did, the trophy couldn't have been worth much. Remember, anything worth having is worth working for.

There’s stuff that I repeat in the back of my head on a daily basis – 2 to 3 general ideas and this will definitely be added to that. I relate because I almost feel like I’m always behind, not having enough fun and working way too hard, always tired, etc. So how about #Cheers to all of us women working! :)
